Duty charts, QR flyers, wedding cards and 3D coursework. The reason this site is a signage system and not a colour palette.

Visual Artifact Pending

Project screenshot and interface documentation for Visual Design & Community Materials will be uploaded here.

A duty chart, a flyer with a QR code on it, and roughly forty volunteers who needed to know where to stand.

Most of the visual design I have done was not for a class. It was material for community programmes: Ijtima duty charts, event flyers that had to stay readable on a phone held at arm’s length in a crowded hall, wedding cards, and signage people follow without being told to. It is the same problem as transit wayfinding at a smaller scale and with a much harder deadline.

The coursework is the other half. A self portrait built in Illustrator out of flat shapes, 3D modelling in Maya, and enough InDesign to lay out a document that does not look like a Word file wearing a costume.

None of it is portfolio grade on its own. Together it is the reason the design language here is a wayfinding system rather than a colour palette.
