Second Brain: Agent-Maintained Wiki
Two folders and one rule: I drop things in, the agent files, cross-references and synthesizes, and neither of us touches the other's side.
Two folders. One of them is mine and immutable, the other is the agent’s and generated.
The rule is the whole system. Articles, notes, CSVs and clippings go into the raw folder and I never organize them. An agent reads them, writes entity pages for the people, places and organizations it finds, maintains an index and an append only event log, and keeps a rolling synthesis of everything it has read. It never edits a source. I never edit the wiki.
The agent’s operating manual lives inside the vault, which makes the vault self describing. Hand the folder to a fresh session and it knows how to carry on without being briefed.
What I have not solved is decay. The synthesis gets better the more it reads and it also gets longer, and eventually somebody has to decide what stops being worth keeping. Right now that somebody is still me.
